This Act amends the Water Act of 2000. Amendments concern the following matters: repealing and substitution of definitions and sections: water, including all water on or under the surface of the ground, whether in liquid or solid state, and precipitation that is intercepted above the ground and captured by works; return flow; water for reuse; measurement, monitoring, reporting and inspection requirements for the use or diversion of water; transfer of water between basins; disclosure of related agreements on water diversion and abstraction.
