This Notification establishes the technical, animal health, and biosecurity requirements applicable to commercial poultry establishments engaged in the rearing of chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, ostriches, and quail, including organic egg and meat production enterprises operated by natural or legal persons and public institutions and organizations. It applies to poultry establishments with a capacity of at least 350 laying hens, 500 broiler chickens, 200 turkeys, ducks, geese or quail, or 20 ostriches. Article 18 lays down sanctions in accordance with the Article 36 of the Law No. 5996 for the breach of the provisions of this Notification.
