This Decision Conama creates environmental associations in order to manage the natural habitats of protected areas. It consists of 4 articles specifying the requirements for creating such associations (composed by a minimum of 3 agents pertaining to the competent environmental organizations), in order to carry out controls on the aforementioned areas. In case of infraction, these associations must prepare a detailed report.
