This Decree regulates Environmental Law No. 1.532 on the prevention and control of pollution within the State of Amazonas. It consists of 6 Parts concerning: the State environmental policy (Part 1); Competent authorities entitled to carry out control on pollution (2); Licensing of activities with potencial Environmental Impact Assessment (3); Controls and penalties (4); Special Fund for environmental control (5); Final provisions (6).
