The present Decision approves the 2003 technical action plan for improving agricultural statistics (TAPAS 2003). The aim of the activities to be carried out in 2003 under the plan is to contribute to the improvement of agricultural statistics in the following fields: (a) data on the physical aspects of European agriculture; (b) environmental aspects of agricultural accounting; (c) agri-environmental indicators, including the use of pesticides; (d) rural development. Table A fixes the maximum Community financial contribution to costs incurred.
