Electronic Implant Regulations (Sask. Reg. 143/78).

This Regulation concerns the use of implants defined as “a device or a series of devices implanted beneath the skin or within the body of an animal to provide positive identification of an animal”. It contains provisions on the procedures to register such implants and on the related fees (sects. 3-6). Sections 7 to 12 defines the conditions respecting licensing for dealers and distributors of implants. Among others, dealers and distributors are required to display their licences and to keep complete records of theirs and their agents’ transactions.
