This Act concerns apiaries and it consists of 25 sections. It contains provisions on licensing and certification, on the right of property in swarm, even when lost (sect. 3), on inspectors and inspections (sect. 4), on the treatment and destruction of infected bees or beekeeping equipment (sect. 5), on issues related to diseases and quarantine (sects. 10 – 12), on the transport of bees (sect. 13), on the importation of bees from other Provinces, and on the location of hives (sect. 19).
