With a view to preventing any phitosanitary risk, the present Decree sets out the periods and conditions under which potato seed and tubers, belonging to the varieties specified in article 1 and coming from certain Canadian provinces, may be imported into Italy. Article 2 deals with certification, whereas article 4 establishes particular duties on importers. Article 5 concerns the inspections to be carried out by the competent Regional Phitosanitary Services.
