This Ministerial Decree, for the purpose of improvement common state system of inspection and supervision over rational and efficient management of oil products and gas in the national economy, establishes the State Inspection on oil products and gas. The main tasks of the Inspection shall be: (a) conservation of oil products and gas by the ministries, institutions, organizations and enterprises; (b) observance of technical rules and regulations governing extraction, processing, transport, storage and trade of oil products and natural gas; (c) elaboration and implementation of energy saving projects and arrangements with a view of rational management of oil products and natural gas; and (d) registration of available oil products and natural gas.
