Presidential Decree No. 1743 validating the Regulation on the Chief State Inspectorate on Standardization, Metrology, Subsoil Protection and Safe Operations.

This Presidential Decree designates the Chief State Inspectorate as the state institution responsible for quality control of products and for the protection and rational management of subsoil. The Inspectorate shall: (a) elaborate technical documentation; (b) supervise and control subsoil protection; (c) issue licences and (d) carry out research.
