This Decision approves the planning on exploration, exploitation and sorting of apatite ores. The planning aims at developing the industry of exploitation of apatite ores in line with the planning on development of Viet Nam’s chemical industry. Objectives of the planning shall include: to explore, exploit and sort apatite ores in a comprehensive and rational manner; develop the industry of exploitation of apatite ores meeting needs for raw materials for the processing of fertilizers for agriculture development to assure national food security and for the production of base chemicals and livestock feed; and to ensure minimum eco-environmental impacts of ore exploitation and sorting in localities where mining activities are conducted.
