These Rules provide for the form and manner in which applications for licences for the manufacture, storage or production of silk seed shall be made. The Rules further make provision for the following: powers of the Director of Industries or of Sericulture Officer to enter and inspect premises connected with the production or rearing of silk worm seeds; procedures regarding seizure and disposal of unauthorized silkworm seeds; penalties; etc.
