Council Directive 2009/143/EC amending Directive 2000/29/EC as regards the delegation of the tasks of laboratory testing.

This Directive replaces the text in the second subparagraph of article 2 (1) (g) of Directive 2000/29/EC which regards the definition of official responsible bodies in Member States. This new provision allows the delegation of laboratory testing tasks to private or public legal persons.
