This Order regulates the modalities of purposeful removal of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fishes and other animals populating the territory of protected areas from their natural habitats. It shall not be applicable to animals kept in semi-captive conditions, breeding farms for wild animals, experimental farms and fish farming enterprises. Hunting and capture of wild animals on the territory of state protected areas shall be carried out exclusively in accordance with this Order and shall be considered otherwise an offence. Regulatory arrangements shall be planned in transparency and the authorized state bodies in the sphere of environmental protection shall be informed thereof. Regulatory measures (hunting, capture) shall be carried in the following cases: (a) excessive number of some species entailing risks for protected complexes and species; (b) disturbance of natural processes typical for this ecosystem; and (c) unfavourable conditions representing risks for endangered and protected species.
