These Regulations prescribe the activities that are eligible industrial activities by describing the activity, their emissions intensity and their allocative baselines. Eligible industrial activities include aluminium smelting and the production of burnt lime, carbamide, cartonboard, caustic soda, ethanol, hydrogen peroxide, etc. The Regulations further provide for the method for calculating the amount of product from eligible industrial activities.
