This Decision approves the Plan on the implementation of the joint Statement and Framework Program between Viet Nam, Cambodia and Thailand on partnership on oil spill incident preparedness and response in the Gulf of Thailand. The Plan aims to develop and strengthen integrated marine resource and environment management systems, human resources training, research and development, environmental surveillance, and risk identification and assessment in order to prevent, be prepared and respond in time to oil spill incidents in Viet Nam sea areas and in the Gulf of Thailand.
