These Rules apply to the mackerel fishery. The Rules provide for the areas where fishing may occur, matters relating to the characteristics of fish, opening and closing of the mackerel fishery, fishing gear, restrictions for fishing vessels, and for limits on taking and possessing fish. The Rules set out provisions relating to mackerel fishing licences and rock lobster fishing licences.
