The present Ordinance implements the Rhine Law of 18 June 1987 and the Waterworks Law of 23 March 1969. Article 1 establishes that the purpose of the Ordinance is to regulate the protection against flooding and fire. The text consists of 16 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Organization (II); Special provisions (III); Final provisions (IV).
