Notification No. 2011/31 on methods of sampling and analysis for the official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, inorganic tin, 3-MCPD,1-2-diol and benzopyrene in foodstuffs.

This Notification sets forth the methods and procedures of sampling and analysis of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, inorganic tin, 3-MCPD and benzopyrene in certain foodstuffs for official controls. The Notification consists 10 articles and 2 annex clauses. The Notification is drafted in accordance with the Commission Regulation (EC) No 333/2007 laying down the methods of sampling and analysis for the official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, inorganic tin, 3-MCPD and benzo(a)pyrene in foodstuffs.
