Decree No. 11/2011 creating the National Administration for Conservation Areas (ANAC).

This Decree, consisting of 12 articles, creates the National Administration for Conservation Areas (ANAC). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned administration, entitled to deal with the following sectors: preservation of biological diversity, protection of natural heritage and its habitat; define priorities sustainable use of conservation areas; establish infrastructures within the conservation areas in order to manage and preserve the biological diversity and for perform any economic activity, etc.
