The present Ordinance implements the Agriculture Act of 11 December 2008. The Ordinance lays down provisions relating to limitation of milk production, and in particular to the: a) criteria to determine the country's milk quota and if the case may be the exceeding amount; b) allocation of the country's quota and a possible exceeding quantity to milk producers and milk processors; c) levying of a charge for exceeding tolerance quantities. The text consists of 24 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Restriction of commercial milk products (II); Organization and implementation (III); Legal protection (IV); Penalties (V); Transitional and final provisions (VI).
