The present Regulation is made under the Economic Development Act. In particular, the Regulation establishes the Energy Infrastructure Loans for Resource Development Application Review. Section 2 establishes that Committee is to act in an advisory capacity and its function is to review applications for loans under the Energy Infrastructure Loans for Resource Development Regulation and to recommend to the Minister in accordance with that Regulation how the applications should be dealt with.
