This Order establishes for 2014 a closed season for crayfish fishing (Nephrops norvegicus) in zones IX and X defined by the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) and Division 34.1.1 defined by Fisheries Committee for the Eastern Atlantic Center (CECAF), which aims to improve the available quota for Portugal. It specifies that between 00:00 of the day following the publication of this Order and 00:00 hours on 21 November 2014 is forbidden to capture, keep on board and land the above mentioned crustacean species.
