This Resolution, consisting of 3 Chapters and four Annexes, provides for the silvo-forestry activity in converted areas, reforestation and granting of forestry credits. It establishes the requirements to be satisfied in order to perform the above mentioned activities within the State. Chapter II specifies that forest reforestation activity of native or exotic species in converted areas will be permitted only outside of the Legal Reserve and Permanent Preservation Areas - APP and its environmental licensing will comply with the terms of current National legislation. Chapter III deals with the Control over Forestry Products. Credits for reforestation purposes will be issued only after having conducted technical inspection to prove the actual reforestation of tree species, whether native or exotic.
