This Order FEPAM, consisting of seven Chapters and four Annexes, regulates the procedures for environmental licensing of silvo-forestry activity in the State of Rio Grande do Sul. It specifies definitions and procedures for general and simplified environmental licensing, related to forestry activities, developed within the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It states that any forestry activity is under environmental licensing, based on Environmental Silvo-Forestry Zoning of Rio Grande do Sul State.
