This Norm creates the State Programme for Aquatic Animal Health - PESAA. It establishes sanitary requirements to be met and inspection to be carried out on aquaculture establishments that develop activities related to reproduction, cultivation, marketing and other activities of aquatic animals. The objective of this Norm is to prevent the introduction of exotic diseases and to ensure sustainability and biosecurity.
