These Measures aim to strengthen the supervision and administration of the entry and exit inspection and quarantine declaration enterprises. The Measures consist of 29 articles divided into 6 Chapters: General Provisions; Filing Administration; Entry and Exit Inspection and Quarantine Declaration; Supervision and Administration; Legal Liabilities; Supplementary Provisions. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (AQSIQ) shall be responsible for the administration of the entry and exit inspection and quarantine declaration enterprises throughout the country. The Measures set out conditions and procedures that entry and exit inspection and quarantine declaration enterprises must follow in order to apply for the filing to the inspection and quarantine institutions, and rules and requirements for inspection and quarantine declaration activities.
