This Law regulates the manner of acquisition, administrative rules, legal protection and right to use the designation (label) of geographical origin (Republic of Montenegro). “Geographic origin” (used for marking natural, agricultural and industrial products, domestic products and services) are names of origin and geographical indications officially established in the country/territory of origin. The Law is divided into XII Chapters and 68 articles, including all offences and related penalties.
