This Law provided the complete set of rules and requirements aimed to define the official accreditation, placement and operation of national accreditation bodies on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, as well as other issues of importance for accreditation. Accreditation establishes the competence of conformity assessment bodies for performing various tasks and duties (environmental, natural and industrial issues included): testing; calibration; inspection; product certification; certification of management tools; certification of persons. The Law is divided into VI Chapters and 27 articles, including the concrete administrative provisions and legal limits for the obtained accreditation.
