These Regulations amend the Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes (Competent Authorities and Information) Regulations 2015: (a) to implement those provisions of Directive 2013/11/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on alternative dispute resolution for consumer disputes and amending Regulation (EC) No 2006/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC that were not implemented by the principal Regulations; (b) to implement those provisions of Regulation (EU) No 524/ 2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on online dispute resolution, which need specific transposition into domestic law in order to make the obligations they contain enforceable; (c) to make certain corrections to the principal Regulations; and (d) to postpone the coming into force of Parts 4 and 5 of the principal Regulations.
