This Regulation, consisting of 26 sections divided into three Parts and completed by three Schedules, implements the Research Act 1985 by providing specifications in the following parts: Preliminary (Part 1), Accreditation and licensing (Part 2) and Miscellaneous (Part 3). Schedule 1 deals with Supplementary provisions of Code of Practice; Constitution and procedure of ethics committees; and Animals exempt from requirements relating to supply.
