This Part of Division 6 of the Water Code of California applies only to the area within the existing boundaries of the Mendocino City Community Services District. It authorizes any local agency which is authorized by law to provide water services to establish programs for the management of groundwater resources. The part extensively deals with groundwater protection and management in the area to which it applies.
