Protocol to Framework Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea related to regional emergency intervention in case of accidents caused by oil pollution.

The scope of this Protocol shall be to ensure regional emergency intervention in case of accidents caused by oil pollution. The Parties have agreed to intervene individually or jointly in case of oil spills and oil pollution accidents and this purpose shall elaborate and validate Regional Plan for cooperation in the sphere oil pollution accidents. Each Party shall institute national early intervention system. The Parties shall exchange information related oil pollution accidents and undertaken arrangements.
