This Regional Decree establishes that the scope of constituting “Natural and historical reserve Arkaim” shall be conservation of places of interest of steppe and forest-steppe areas representing integral complexes of historical and cultural heritage and natural complexes (landscape) with a view of study thereof for utilization for scientific research and educational purposes. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of “Natural and historical reserve Arkaim”: (a) construction; (b) geological exploration and mining; (c) ploughing up, gardening and horticulture; (d) passage of motor vehicles outside authorized areas; and (e) waste disposal.
