Regulation no. 488 date 29.6.2016 on classification, labelling, and packaging of chemicals.

This Regulation lays down the criteria of chemicals classification and the rules for the packaging and labelling of dangerous chemicals. The Regulation consists of six Chapters: General Provisions (I); Risk Classification (II); Communication of Risk through Labelling (III); Packaging (IV); List of Classification and Labelling (V); Final Provisions (VI). The Regulation is fully approximated with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures.
