This Thai Agricultural Standard is established in accordance with the Agricultural Standards Act B.E. 2551 (2008) to promote sweet corn commodity standard to meet its quality standard and safety. The Standard applies to sweet corn which is commercially grown from the Zea mays L. in the family of Poaceae for fresh consumption or industrial processing. The Text provides for the requirements and conditions to be satisfied for the sweet corn quality, packaging, marking or labeling, hygiene, pesticide residues, etc.
