This Resolution, consisting of 5 articles, strengthens the integrated measures for the management of the Fogo Natural Park (PNF). In particular, it provides for the monitoring of the exploitation of natural resources and buildings, raising public awareness of environmental protection and civil protection, and the recovery and harmonization of economic activities in the fields of agriculture, forestry, livestock, processing of agricultural products and tourism. The technical team responsible for PNF management should intensify the actions of sensitization of the local population, namely through: (re)placement of information boards related to the conditioning or prohibitions of trampling of lavas in specific areas; extraction of aggregates for civil construction (sand, gasses, gravel and stone); mineral picking (sulfur); collection of plants and animals; animal husbandry, grazing; and gathering of grass and woody material and other measures, etc.
