This Regulation, consisting of 15 sections completed by two Schedules, implements the Environmentally Hazardous Chemicals Act 1985. It provides for the following issues: Application for assessment of prohibited activities; Assessment of chemicals; Notice of licence application; Time before appeal may be made; Time within which appeal may be made; Form of receipt; Registers of declared chemical wastes, chemical control orders and licences; Seized property; Alternate members of Hazardous Chemicals Advisory Committee; Technology assessment; Fees, etc. Schedules specify related Form (Schedule 1) and Fees (Schedule 2).
