Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/723 amending Annexes I and II to Council Regulation (EC) No. 1099/2009 on the protection of animals at the time of killing as regards the approval of low atmospheric pressure stunning.

This Regulation updates Council Regulation (EC) No. 1099/2009 on the protection of animals at the time of killing. The amendments and addenda concern Annex I (which sets out the list of approved stunning methods) and Annex II (which sets out the requirements regarding the layout, construction and equipment of slaughterhouses).
