The scope of constituting protected area - state nature biological reserve of regional significance “Chulymsky” shall be constituted for protection and reproduction of the population of sturgeon, sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus), coreopsis (Coreopsis), Siberian white salmon (Stenodus leucichthys) and salmon trout, - valuable fish species listed in the national and regional Red Books of protected species, and also protection of Chulym river water complex. State nature biological reserve shall perform the following tasks: (a) conservation in the natural conditions of the most important spawning grounds of valuable fish species; (b) maintaining optimal conditions for reproduction and migration of fish species, preserving natural habitats thereof and water protection area; and (c) environmental monitoring and scientific research. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of state nature biological reserve: (a) industrial fisheries; (b) artisanal and sport fishing of protected aquatic biological resources (sturgeon, sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus), coreopsis (Coreopsis), Siberian white salmon (Stenodus leucichthys) and salmon trout); (c) aerial chemical treatment of the territory; (d) application of chemical pest control measures, means against plant diseases and weeds; (e) use of manure for soil fertilization; (f) storage and application of toxic chemicals, mineral fertilizers and petroleum products; (g) waste disposal and location of cattle cemeteries; (h) washing and repairs of motor vehicles, parking of motor vehicles (except for service vehicles); (i) water logging; (j) main use felling; (k) construction of roads and pipelines, power transmission lines and other communications, allotment of land plots and construction of permanent or temporary buildings and structures, with the exception of buildings required for the protection and state control of the reserve territory, without prior authorization by the regional administration; and (l) destruction or damaging of barriers, boards and other information displays and indication signs.
