This Regulation prescribes the methods and necessary procedures for the development of public strategic documents and programmes aimed at determining the internal and foreign policy in certain areas or sectors, including the rules for their effective implementation, verification of their mutual compliance (when interconnected areas) and compliance with internal strategies for controlled the planned development (strategic national goals). These strategic documents are developed and implemented in the following sectors: democracy and good governance; financial and fiscal policy, financial stability and sustainable public finance management system; traffic, energy and information infrastructure (also infrastructure priorities); economic development and the environmental areas related to improvement of competitiveness, production, agriculture and rural development, sustainable development and tourism as well several environmental protection areas.
