This National Sanitary Surveillance Board Resolution, consisting of 5 articles and two Annexes, establishes the food and packaging categories exempted from and with mandatory sanitary registration. The Resolution specifies that the company that holds the registration of products exempted from registration, should use labelling format explaining the registration number granted until the expiration date of the registration or until the end of the existing packaging stock of the product. The noncompliance with the provisions of this Resolution constitutes a sanitary infraction, pursuant to Law No. 6.437 of 20 August 1977. Annexes list Food and Packaging Exempt from the Obligation of Sanitary Registration and Food and Packaging with Obligation of Sanitary Registration.
