This Board Resolution RDC approves the Technical Regulation on Good Manufacturing Practices for Edible Ice Cream Industrialization Establishments. The assessment of compliance with the Technical Regulation laid down in Annex I shall be carried out by means of the Checklist of Good Manufacturing Practices for Edible Ice Cream Industrialization Establishments in Annex II. Its objective is to establish Good Manufacturing Practices procedures for edible ice cream manufacturing establishments in order to guarantee the hygienic-sanitary conditions of the final product. It applies to establishments that carry out the activities of industrialization, subdivision, storage and/or transportation of edible ice creams.
