This Administrative Regulation is enacted in accordance with the paragraph 5) of Article 50 of the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region. This administrative regulation prescribes the system to be followed in the management of construction waste in the Macao Special Administrative Region, especially in the classification, transportation, dumping, placement, treatment and final disposal of construction waste, so as to reduce the impact of construction waste on the environment. Vehicles carrying construction waste for dumping must obtain dumping permission before entering the construction waste landfill. The administrative regulation further provides for the inspection and supervision, offences and penalties, etc.
