Resolution 01/03 Establishing A Scheme To Promote Compliance By Non-Contracting Party Vessels With Resolutions Established by IOTC.

This Resolution is drafted in 5 Articles and provides for reporting any vessels that are fishing contrary to IOTC Conservation or Management Measures or are presumed to be undermining IOTC Conservation or Management Measures. The text lays out provision for inspection of a vessel of a Non-Contracting Party, Entity or fishing Entity enters voluntarily a port of any Contracting Party, and provide prohibitions for landings and shipments of all fish in case of having on board species subject to IOTC Conservation or Management Measures. Information on the results of all inspections of vessels of Non-Contracting Parties, Entities or fishing Entities, conducted in the ports of Contracting Parties, and any subsequent action, shall be transmitted immediately to the Commission.
