This Decree-Law, consisting of 17 articles and 1 Annex, creates the General Direction for Energy and Geology (DGEG). It establishes competencies, duties and composition of the above mentioned Direction, entitled to contribute to the design, promotion and evaluation of policies relating to energy and geological resources, with a view to sustainable development and guaranteeing security of supply.
