The Act establish that the Minister, for and on behalf of the Crown in right of the Province, may, if authorized to do so by the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, enter into agreements with the Crown in right of Canada as represented by the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food for Canada and with producers, or enter into agreements with the Crown in right of Canada as represented by the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food for Canada, to provide for a price stabilization scheme for an agricultural commodity produced in the Province. Stabilization Agreements can be also with Boards established under the Natural Products Act.
