Program goal 1. Ensuring forest reproduction at a level of at least 100% of the volume of cut down and dead forests. Program goal 2. Increasing the efficiency of forestry management, guardianship, protection, use and reproduction of forests, ensuring staffing in forestry, as well as providing a comfortable and safe environment for regional residents. The objectives of the Regional State Program: (a) increasing reforestation area; (b) formation of a stock of forest seeds for reforestation; (c) equipping specialized institutions of state authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation with forest fire equipment and equipment for carrying out a set of measures to protect forests from fires; (d) carrying out radiation survey activities on forest land; (e) implementation of fire safety measures and extinguishing forest fires; (f) monitoring the state and development of the forest industry; (g) allocation of subsidies to reimburse part of the costs associated with provision of the regional population with fuelwood for heating needs.
