This Standard is formulated to implement the Environmental Protection Law, the Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law, the Marine Environmental Protection Law, the Yangtze River Protection Law and other laws and regulations, protect and improve the quality of the water environment, guide and regulate the formulation and revision of local aquaculture water pollutant emission control standards, and promote the green development of aquaculture. The Standard specifies the basic principles, technical routes, and determination of the main technical contents for the formulation of local aquaculture water pollutant emission control standards. In addition, the Regulation encourages public participation, government oversight, scientific research, and promotes the integrated development of ancient and famous tree resources and eco-tourism.
