This Complementary Law creates the subaccount called “Animal Welfare” within the State Environmental Fund (FUNDEMA), with the objective of providing financial support to actions, programmes and projects aimed at population control, animal health and the welfare of domestic animals. The subaccount will observe the principles, objectives, and priorities established within the scope of the State Programme for Population Control and Welfare of Domestic Animals.
